Air After Coolers

Air aftercooling and water removal is done when all the feed air is passed through an external air aftercooler to ensure the feed air is cooled between 1°C to 5°C above ambient temperature conditions to remove more water and maintain the required inlet feed air temperature to the nitrogen generation system. This is very important for high ambient temperature and humid conditions.

Design Performance

The GHT ACC is horizontally skid-mounted, with an air drive fan motor pushing the heat rejection upward. The system is standalone, and the fan motor’s air flow and pressure come from the inlet manifold on the ACC.
